Join renowned Chief Curator Ulysses Grant Dietz on November 3rd for a tour of the Newark Museum. Since 1980, he has served as Curator of Decorative Arts, and will be retiring in December after five years as the museum’s Chief Curator. In that time, he has helped re-envision the museum’s display of its outstanding holdings, and his work and research have reinvigorated popular interest in everything from nineteenth century interiors to modern ceramics and and antique jewelry. Members will enjoy an in-depth collections tour, including the Newark Museum’s 1885 Ballantine House, and newly re-installed galleries of decorative arts.
