The Decorative Arts Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 1977. Our members live throughout the country, have diverse interests, and enjoy a compelling list of benefits.
Mission
The Decorative Arts Trust promotes awareness, encourages appreciation, and champions the study of the decorative arts and material culture through educational programs, communications, and grantmaking.
Vision
The Trust is an opportunity incubator that generates access to and ensures the relevance of decorative arts and material culture.
The Trust offers:
- A robust calendar of educational programs including Symposia, Study Trips Abroad, Sojourns, special programs, and virtual programs
- Grants and scholarships for graduate students, young professionals, and institutions
- The Magazine of the Decorative Arts Trust with articles about current events, exhibitions, books, and new research
- The Decorative Arts Trust Bulletin online publication
