As we explore South Carolina’s maritime jewel, we delight in public and private tours of the city’s most beloved and admired residences, with the South of Broad neighborhood and sites along the Ashley River coming into particular focus. Scholars, preservationists, and designers lead our audience through a proper showcase of the Lowcountry’s history, architecture, interiors, and hospitality, as well as Charleston’s remarkable legacy of advancing historic preservation. From the elegant French Quarter to the scenic Battery promenade and from the city’s palmetto-lined streets to its pastel-hued exteriors, Charleston’s picturesque environs not only keep us occupied but captivated, curious, and charmed.
