Curator Panel: Navigating ‘Flow States – LA TRIENAL 2024’
Join us for an engaging panel discussion with the curators behind Flow States – LA TRIENAL 2024, El Museo del Barrio’s second major survey of Latinx contemporary art. Featuring chief curator Rodrigo Moura, curator Susanna V. Temkin, and guest curator María Elena Ortiz, and moderated by Marina Reyes Franco the panel will explore the thematic and conceptual foundations of the exhibition. Panelists will also delve into the show’s research process, development, and realization, as well as discuss how the exhibition navigates the complexities of diasporic flows, highlighting the rich, transnational dialogues that emerge when artists engage with their multifaceted identities and diverse cultural landscapes.
