
Penn Dry Goods Market Textile Lecture Series
Here’s a chance to hear the best experts in textile history on a broad range of topics at the Penn Dry Goods Market Textiles Lecture Series. You have the opportunity to hear a dozen lectures from nationally recognized authorities in textiles and in decorative and folk art. Topics this year span from embroidered hand towels to Appalachian weaving, from quilts to samplers, and from Scandinavian American and African American traditions. See the website for a full list.
All lectures require a ticket ($25/lecture prepaid or $30 at door). Each ticket also provides access to the Penn Dry Goods Market antique show. It is open on Friday, May 16, from 10am to 5pm and Saturday< May 17, from 10am to 3pm.
