
Publication Awards and Lecture, “Workshop of the World: Arts and Crafts in Philadelphia”
Join the Decorative Arts Society to honor the recipients of its Robert C. Smith Award, Charles F. Montgomery Award, Charles F. Montgomery Prize, and the Service to the Profession Award.
The event will feature a lecture about the forthcoming exhibition and book, “Workshop of the World: Arts and Crafts in Philadelphia,” presented by David Barquist, The H. Richard Dietrich, Jr., Curator of American Decorative Arts and Colin Fanning, the Assistant Curator of European Decorative Arts at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Held at The Explorers Club, the awards ceremony and lecture will include an opportunity to socialize with fellow decorative art scholars, curators, authors, collectors, and enthusiasts over wine and cheese.
