Tales from Textiles

The artistry, craftsmanship, and rich history of textile and clothing creation are the focus of this program. Museum curators and artists will provide hands-on experience and historical insight about handcrafts and the challenges of fast-fashion trends. Participants will gain knowledge and appreciation of the textile arts, the skills and inspiration to pursue them, and an exercise book filled with samples of their own work. For ages 13–17. No sewing skills required.
