Fallingwater Virtual Tour
Virtual Tour
Recorded Fall 2025
Register today for this pay-what-you-wish Virtual Tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater. Join us behind the scenes on a rainy autumn day for a cozy, out-of-hours visit with collections staff members as they go about their perpetual work of protecting this iconic residence and the irreplaceable furnishings contained within. Senior Director of Preservation and Collections Scott Perkins and his team members tackle conservation challenges brought on by the elegant but imperfect fusion of indoor and outdoor spaces, from swathes of sun over-exposure to unexpected rain puddles on paper-thin wood veneer. The team also discusses a recently discovered treasure trove of blueprints for Frank Lloyd Wright’s built-ins and furniture. These drawings, conserved and photographed with the help of a Dean F. Failey Grant from the Decorative Arts Trust, guide current preservation efforts and will inform stewardship of the house for decades to come.
