Become a part of our vibrant community of decorative arts scholars, enthusiasts, and collectors.

The Decorative Arts Trust is a non-profit organization that promotes and fosters the appreciation and study of the decorative arts. We achieve our mission through:

• Exchanging information through domestic and international programming;
• Collaborating and partnering with museums and preservation organizations; and
• Underwriting internships, research grants, and scholarships for graduate students and young professionals in the field.

Membership is open to all who share an appreciation for the decorative arts, history, and culture. Our members live throughout the country, have diverse interests, and enjoy a compelling list of benefits. The Trust relies on the support of its membership community to remain a vibrant organization in the decorative arts field. Membership gifts are tax deductible.

All members are invited to participate in our biannual symposia, New York Antiques Weekend each January, and other special programs throughout the year. Members receive a subscription to The Magazine of the Decorative Arts Trust and our e-newsletter, as well as exclusive virtual programs including our monthly Object Shares.

Memberships run on a calendar-year cycle from January 1 through December 31. Membership gifts received in the second half of the year are extended through the end of the following year. For example, a gift membership purchased in August will run through December of the next year.
