Rebecca Migdal, an independent museum consultant based in the Boston region, presented the Marie Zimmermann Emerging Scholar Lecture at the Decorative Arts Trust Fall 2019 Symposium Inspired by the Berkshires: Autumn in Western Massachusetts.
Migdal’s lecture “Modern in the Mountains: Mid-Century Design in the Berkshires” describes trends in architecture and furniture design in New England and includes examples from the H. Lee Hirsche House, Albert L. Keep House, and many more.
