Thomas Wu Joins Decorative Arts Trust Staff

Thomas Wu.The Decorative Arts Trust welcomes Thomas Wu as the new Educational Programs Coordinator.

Thomas will support Manager of Educational Programs Catherine Carlisle in organizing the Trust’s Symposia, Sojourns, and special programs, such as New York Antiques Weekend and the Emerging Scholars Colloquium.

Thomas’s career has been dedicated to the field of decorative arts, and he has a particular love for 18th- and 19th-century European ceramics and furniture. Originally from the Boston area, he previously held curatorial and administrative roles at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco; and Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens in Washington, D.C. He obtained a BA in history of art and architecture from Boston University in 2015, followed by an MA in history of art from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London in 2019. In his spare time, Thomas enjoys varied outdoor activities, reading and writing fantasy fiction, and travel.
