Andrew Lunney Named New Educational Programs Assistant

Dec 14, 2022

Andrew LunneyThe Decorative Arts Trust welcomes Andrew Lunney as the new Educational Programs Assistant!

The Trust is thrilled to expand our staff from four to five personnel, in response to our growing slate of program offerings. In the past five years, the Trust has added a third Study Trip Abroad destination, several special programs, virtual lectures and tours, and monthly Object Share videos for members to our annual calendar. Maintaining this pace and the quality for which the Trust is known is a tall order, and we are excited that Andrew is onboard to help!

Following graduate internships at both the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and the Valentine in Richmond, VA, Andrew worked at Wilton House Museum and the Virginia State Capitol. Many members may have already met Andrew, at Wilton events or on tours of the Virginia State Capitol during the Trust’s Fall 2022 Symposium in Richmond.

Andrew studied both history and art history at the University of Scranton, and obtained his master’s in history from Virginia Commonwealth University. Andrew also holds a professional certificate from the University of Richmond’s Institute on Philanthropy.

Andrew shares that he is excited to help the Trust team “develop engaging educational programming tied to decorative and fine art, architecture, and gardens, expanding upon the team’s already impressive calendar of upcoming programs.”

Be sure to welcome Andrew to the Trust when you see him at our upcoming events in New York and Philadelphia!
