New York Antiques Weekend
New York Antiques Weekend’s Friday tours set the stage for America’s Semiquincentennial, including visits to the 1789 Federal Hall, the 1762 Fraunces Tavern, the 1766 St. Paul’s Chapel, the 1840s Trinity Church with roots to 1697, and the South Street Seaport Museum with Bowne & Co. Stationers dating to 1775. A convivial reception at the National Arts Club hosted by our friends at the Richard Hampton Jenrette Foundation closes the day. Saturday’s schedule features expert-led tours of New York’s Winter Antiques Show at the Park Avenue Armory followed by a special lunch in the Board of Officers Room and an exclusive visit to a private collection.
