250th Celebration and Exhibit – Hadley Historic Society

A special exhibit in observance of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the country. This will be a multi faceted event that will include the following:
- Two rare 19th century broadside engravings of The Declaration of Independence will be on display.
- The history as well as photos of Hadley houses still standing since the revolution will be presented.
- A panel display of “Forty Acres and the American Revolution: Stories of Independence and Servitude” courtesy Porter Phelps-Huntington Museum
- A display of Revolutionary War era weapons and diaries.
