Primitive Hall Virtual Tour with Wendy Cooper

Virtual Tour

May 19, 2021, 1:00 pm ET

Wendy Cooper, Curator Emerita of Furniture, Winterthur Museum, will lead us on a tour of a remarkable survival, Primitive Hall. John Pennock, who came from Tipperary County, Ireland, had acquired the property in 1703 and built the house in 1738. The house faithfully retains its original character and has been noted as exemplifying a sense of 18th-century solitude and strength. Visiting Primitive Hall virtually, we have the opportunity to get a taste of the architectural and interior marvels that we will see in Northern Ireland in May of 2022. We hope you can join us!

The Decorative Arts Trust hosts monthly virtual tours that give viewers the opportunity to go behind the scenes and experience incredible collections and sites. Curators, collectors, and lovers of decorative arts share fascinating objects and interiors through our tours hosted on YouTube Live.
