Virtual Trust Tour

December 1, 2020, 1:00 pm ET

This December the Trust heads to the Concord Museum in Concord, MA, to share the debut of three new galleries titled ‘April 19, 1775.’ This dramatic installation recounts the fateful moment when the first shots were fired at Concord and the American Revolution began. Erica Lome, Peggy N. Gerry Curatorial Associate, and David Wood, Curator, utilize the museum’s incredible collection of decorative arts to talk about the people of Concord and what was at stake on the eve of the Revolution. This is sure to be a special tour!

In celebration of Giving Tuesday, all registration contributions made for Erica’s tour will be directed to the Trust’s Emerging Scholars Program. Please give generously, and help us ensure that dozens of graduate students and young professionals will continue to benefit from our assistance through research grants, continuing education scholarships, and internships.

Trust Tours is a monthly virtual program that gives viewers the opportunity to go behind the scenes and experience incredible collections and sites. Curators, collectors, and lovers of decorative arts share favorite objects through tours hosted on YouTube Live.

This tour is sponsored by the Decorative Arts Trust’s John A.H. Sweeney Fund.

Registration Fee: Donations to the Emerging Scholars Program are appreciated as part of Giving Tuesday
