Build and Brew: Mug Making workshop with Pull-Up Coffee

In partnership with Pull-Up Coffee, join us for a mug-making mixer for some community, creativity, and caffeine!

Attendees will learn to hand-build their very own mug in this workshop led by AMOCA staff and local coffee connoisseur Carlos Molina. Enjoy the opportunity to work with clay and build community! No experience is required, and all materials will be provided.

This is a great opportunity for those who want to be creative, have some fun, and learn more about coffee. On Saturday, August 29 you’ll spend time in our air-conditioned ceramics studio, where you’ll learn about coffee while you build your own coffee mug out of clay.

Three weeks later, your piece will be fired and ready to pick up at Pull-Up Coffee in Downtown Pomona. During the pick-up event, enjoy tasting and learning more about coffee! Carlos Molina will guide us in a private coffee tasting. Date & time coming soon.

• Children and youth under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult
• Registration includes admission to the museum Saturday, August 29 so you might want to plan to arrive early or stay late to explore current exhibitions. AMOCA is open from 11 AM -4 PM on Saturdays.
• To help us prepare workshop materials, pre-registration is required; space is limited. Ticket sales end at noon on Friday, August 28.
