Leslie Jones oversees the Preservation Society’s curatorial and conservation efforts, which encompass a wide range of activities at all our house museums and beyond. The subject of her lecture will be a surprise, but it will tie into the larger theme of this winter’s programming, which provides a glimpse at the ongoing work taking place to preserve our historic properties. To provide a bit of a hint, we can share that she will be discussing some of the Preservation Society’s new acquisitions, including a silver cat cup from 1869 by John C. Moore of Tiffany & Co. And a Pio Fedi marble statue of Michelangelo.
