Artist Talk with Virgil Ortiz
Internationally renowned Pueblo artist Virgil Ortiz will present a free public lecture as part of Handwork 2026 and Potters Market at the Mint. Known for his groundbreaking work in pottery, fashion, and contemporary Indigenous art, Ortiz brings a bold and influential perspective through his work.
The program is presented as part of Craft in America’s national celebration of creativity during America’s 250th anniversary, honoring the enduring legacy and future of American craft, and the Mint’s 20th anniversary celebration of Potters Market at the Mint also happening September 26.
