Blake McGready, The Graduate Center, City University of New York, will talk about the American Revolution through a new lens as a political, military, and environmental struggle where the natural world was both an actor in the war as much as it was affected by its forces. McGready’s project was supported by a Winterthur Dissertation Fellowship in 2025.
