The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation will host its annual Working Wood in the 18th Century Conference on January 22–25, 2026. Offered both virtually and in-person, this year’s conference, United We Sit: Exploring Early American Chairs, will center around six different chairs that spotlight a multitude of topics and techniques drawn from early America’s rich woodworking traditions.
